There are many universities, medical research centres, sports research departments, and
sports institutions who used the Flotation REST – Floating-REST -
Floatation-REST.
The effects of floating have been scientifically verified and documented since the first
floatation tank was built - as a research tool for over fifty years ago. Floating REST has also been part of
NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) as training program for astronauts.
There is evidence that the floating works. This is some part of all the research that is made:

Can floating really improve
my life?
There are many who say that if you could capture the effects
of REST in a pill, it would quickly out-compete medical such as anxiety, antidepressant and erectile dysfunction
pills altogether. There is a growing awareness that lean towards natural solutions to the problems of daily
life, solutions with no undesirable side effects. The benefits of REST is a natural, long-term and summative.
Every time you float, strengthens you summon up positive benefits of relaxation
response. In the REST tank, your body learns what real relaxation feels like, which is an experience you
will never forget.
Do I need to use REST-tank more than once?
Yes, if you want to take advantage as much as possible of the benefits of floating.
Most people who recognize the capacity / potential of the floating first time comes

floating sessions. Most research is made with minimum 12 times floatation.

Does anyone should not use
REST-tank?
It is not recommended: epileptics using REST idea if their
epilepsy is under medical supervision. For people affected by alcohol or drugs. For people with contagious
diseases. For people who are mentally ill and prone to develop suicidal thoughts
Will the Epsomsalt affect my hair growth positively?
There is no research that I know of, but it is
scientifically proven that you lose your hair under stress. Perhaps there is truth in these rumours. Here is
a recipe that I found on the Internet: Epsom salt can be solved in the shampoo to make it extra lipid. Dissolved in
water or as a balm volumising wrap, let be 20 minutes in the hair and then rinse out.
Shampoo: Equal parts.
Wrap with warm water or conditioner:
Equal parts.
But when you float is it a bath in Epsom salt so it is then not required to do any
wrapping.
Can children use REST-tank? And what is
their reaction?

Can pregnant women use REST-tank?
Yes, why not. But we suggest that pregnant women are informed their doctor or midwife and
get their opinion before using REST-tank. Stories and testimonials from pregnant women has been breathtaking. When
their bodies become heavier and more difficult to handle, floating provides a good relief from gravity.
Floating has given many women a welcome rest from the body weight just to
become weightless for a brief moment.
Can you sleep in
REST-tank?
Yes, the vast majority become so relaxed that they fall asleep or at least half asleep in the
REST-tank, this especially after a few times floating. There are people using REST-tank for sleeping (not many people have access to a
tank)
